At the first glance at the world of science, an inexperienced discoverer may be shocked by the number of studies and articles on seemingly stupid and obvious things. Researchers are ready to write multi-volume works on the topic “Reproduction of deep-sea arthropods in the laboratory and natural environment”. Moreover, to write with such enthusiasm and oblivion that such reading can draw in the reader for a long time.
US scientists are considered one of the most painstaking and sensation-hungry scientists. And today I want to introduce you to an area of research that concerns us and our realities. Since 1980, along with research on the influence of television on the minds of young Americans, leading American universities have been conducting research on the negative impact of video games. In recent years, these studies have received increasing support from the American government. And only today, and only for you, I will give you a short tour consisting of 12 exhibits.
The original in English and in excellent design, which describes 25 studies, you can find by following this link.
All the best to you.

I explain:
When you play something or https://nonukcasinosites.co.uk/no-limit-casinos/ are passionate about something, passion is awakened. If you are disturbed when you are passionate, then you become aggressive. But after satisfying your excitement, you become peaceful.
It’s the same here. If you interfere with playing, the person will get angry. If you let him play calmly, then he lets off excess steam and ends the game with a cute and pleasant cutie, provided that he is a normal healthy person and not a mentally ill mushroom.
It turned out that a student threw a meteorite onto Chelyabinsk because he played a lot of Simcity. There were also cases in the USA when teenagers used tornadoes to destroy cities, under the influence of Simcity.
🙂
All the articles I found describe studies that took place in a laboratory environment, i.e.e. unusual for the player, different from a cozy home environment.
Or is everything compiled from the words of the players?. Then everything is rosy and wonderful.
You should also pay attention to the lists of games that researchers use. What is considered a “violent” game?? Where the level of realism in destroying enemies is closest to reality?
It was funny to read, honestly, I’m also researchers. Since when did only one indicator (in this case, games) affect the level of something? A kid with no friends and parents who don’t give a damn was wildly bullied at school for years and wasn’t treated like a person, after which he easily got a gun and shot at a bunch of people, and who’s to blame?? Games of course! In no case an extremely aggressive environment, inattention of parents to their own child, easy access to firearms, NO! Exclusively games! The funny thing is that before the games, every heavy metal was accused of this, and before that, attention, the Dungeons & Dragons board because of the pentagram on the cover.
I myself am a psychologist by training and I would like to say that psychology is older than many modern sciences; back in ancient Greece, doctors of that time somehow tried to explain the nature of temperaments and other mental phenomena, but that is history. I want to write on the topic that when a school psychologist works with children, he should find out what video games the child prefers to play and what cartoons to watch, BUT not in order to find out what influences the child, but in order to find out what attracted the child to this game/cartoon, and then find out why exactly this interested him. However, in “media” psychology everything is exactly the opposite – people are weak-willed slaves of terrible and bloody VIDEO GAMES.
But in general it seems to me that it’s just people who are naturally more prone to cruelty who play violent games. Same with movies and stuff.
If you want, you can consider any game cruel. Mario is an incredibly cruel game that teaches violence against turtles and mushrooms. Nightmare! Any car racing is a disgustingly cruel game. The number of accidents is off the charts, but in reality people would die in such accidents. Solitaire solitaire – the scariest horror game! Living cards that jump from place to place, without any reason brrr… Silent Hill is a wonderful children’s puzzle game, working title “Hedgehog in the Fog”. Mortal Kombat is a very kind and fun game about aliens who love to play with each other. These games may seem cruel, but in fact they are absolutely harmless, because in the end no one dies, but is calmly reborn on the character selection screen. In general, considering some games to be violent is nonsense. Stupid American scientists have nothing to spend government money on, so they suffer in crap, God forgive me.
Urgently to the room! I have classified information about similar research in the post-Soviet space.
2008.
My classmate, a student at the Slavyansk State Pedagogical University, Faculty of Psychology, Department of Applied Psychology M*keev M*xim, defended his course work on the topic: something like “The influence of passion for computer games on the manifestation of aggression in adolescents” or the same garbage, but in other words.
Methodology:
Two teenagers aged 21 (me) and 24 (my classmate) took part in the study. The level of aggression was measured by the subjects before and after the two-hour game process.
Conclusion:
The director of the course work clearly indicated that it is necessary to trace a direct connection between the passion for computer games and aggressiveness (anxiety, neuroses, psychoses, etc.), which was obediently proven as a result of the study.
Games: cool Half-Life 2: Episode Two (from my side) and some crap like Alien Shooter (from my classmate).
